1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the SourceGen app or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are between you and Source Generation Group LLC ("SourceGen", "we", "us", "our").

2. What SourceGen is — and is not

SourceGen is a financial education platform. It teaches general concepts about investing, saving, and money management through lessons, quizzes, and interactive tools.

SourceGen is not:

• A licensed financial advisor, broker-dealer, or investment manager.
• A brokerage, bank, or payment platform. SourceGen never executes real trades, holds real funds, or connects to your bank or brokerage accounts.
• A source of personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific security, currency, or asset. Educational examples that reference real companies, exchanges, or financial instruments (e.g. Dangote Cement, the NGX, Tata Group, index funds) are illustrative only, may be dated by the time you read them, and are not endorsements or recommendations.

You are solely responsible for any real-world financial decisions you make. Before making any investment decision, consult a licensed financial advisor qualified in your jurisdiction.

3. Market data disclaimer

If SourceGen displays live or delayed market prices, indices, or other financial market data (a "Market Data Feature"), the following applies in addition to Section 2:

• Market data shown in the Service is licensed from third-party data providers for display and educational purposes only. It is provided "as is," may be delayed, and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.
• SourceGen does not guarantee the accuracy of any price, quote, index value, or other figure shown, and is not liable for any decision made or loss incurred in reliance on data displayed in the Service.
• You may view Market Data Features for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, cache outside the app, or otherwise extract market data displayed in the Service for use outside of SourceGen, whether for yourself or any third party. This restriction exists because our market-data license from third-party providers only permits us to display this data to individual end users for their own personal use — it does not permit redistribution, and violating it could result in the loss of the feature for all users.
• What you personally choose to do with information you see displayed in the Service — such as making an independent decision to look up a price elsewhere or place a trade through your own broker — is your own decision and outside SourceGen's control; this Section restricts extracting or redistributing the data itself, not your ordinary use of publicly available information you independently obtain elsewhere.

4. Eligibility

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the European Union). By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, or that you are using the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Your account

SourceGen creates an anonymous account for you automatically (see the Privacy Policy for details). You do not need to provide a name, email, or password to use core features. If you choose to provide an email address, you are responsible for keeping it accurate and for any communications sent to it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@sourcegenerationgroup.com.

6. Subscriptions and payments

SourceGen's first lessons on every learning path are free for everyone. A paid Premium subscription — unlocking the remaining lessons across all learning paths — is planned to be available from launch, once a visitor completes their free lessons.

• Mobile (iOS and Android): all payment is processed by Apple's In-App Purchase system or Google Play Billing, not directly by SourceGen. Your payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies. Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies are governed by the applicable app store's standard subscription terms in addition to any SourceGen-specific terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
• Web (future, once available): general markets will use Lemon Squeezy (or Paddle at greater scale) as a merchant-of-record checkout partner, which handles billing, tax/VAT, and refunds without SourceGen ever holding your card details. For Nigeria specifically, Paystack will additionally be offered so users can pay via bank transfer, USSD, or mobile money in addition to cards. SourceGen does not use Stripe for any payment path.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account subscription settings — cancellation is not handled directly within SourceGen. Canceling stops future renewal only; it does not immediately end your access. You keep Premium access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and your account reverts to the free lessons once that period ends. Refunds are governed entirely by Apple's or Google's own refund policies — SourceGen does not process, approve, or deny refunds directly; refund requests must go through Apple or Google support.
• SourceGen will update this Section and notify users within the app if any of these details change.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's underlying content, source code, or licensed third-party data (including market data — see Section 3) beyond normal personal use of the app.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with SourceGen.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its networks.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its lesson content, design, branding (SourceGen™), and underlying software, is owned by Source Generation Group LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Educational content is provided for your personal learning use; you may not copy, republish, or redistribute it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its educational content, translations, or market data (if applicable) will be accurate or current at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Source Generation Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or financial losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any financial decision you make based on educational content or market data displayed in the Service.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be notified within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; see Section 5 for how to request account deletion.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Source Generation Group LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise (e.g. for users in the EU, Canada, Brazil, or Nigeria).
